Winter in Tarnów

Fairly uneventful couple of weeks for us here in Tarnów. Xtreme Kids, a local forest, Crazy Pig and a visit with family. The options for things to do in the middle of winter are limited, especially a winter without any snow.

We visited Sylwia's aunt Gosia again and fortunate for us, her son Mariusz was there for the weekend with his family as well. They live in Kraków and it was nice to finally meet them.

With not much else to do, we found a small, local forest to explore in with the boys. We got our steps in and they burned off some of their pent-up energy.

Crazy Pig never disappoints. Their food is always delicious. The saltwater fish tank is simply beautiful.

Not only is their food tasty but the winter tea is also a bit hit on a cold Winter day. Zimowa cherbata.

The Mega Party Pig platter is a beast of a meal. A full rack of fall-off-the-bone ribs, 20 chicken wings, a large order of regular fries and sweet potato fries. It's a 2-person meal for 144 złoty, which in today's exchange rate equals about $38. For Poland, it seems a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

The boys getting ready for school in the morning. They both seem to be enjoying their time in school.

Our building needs a bit of an exterior makeover. Unfortunately, most owners are not interested in a multi-year special assessment to make that happen.

I've been on a hunt for a garage here in Tarnów. Not just any garage but a garage in a specific building right behind our condo. There are 18 garages in that building and I'm eyeing any one of them. The biggest problem is finding and contacting the owners to entice them with my juicy offer. I resorted to flyers for now but I'm getting more desperate as I'm getting no leads.
