We are back in Tarnów and getting into the swing of things. Our place is on the left, second from the top.

During the Fall and Winter months at Park Strzelecki, the crows gather and sit in the trees until about dawn when the sun has fully disappeared and the sky just starts to turn dark. Then, in a synchronized fashion they start to take off in the same direction. There are probably thousands of them covering the sky turning it into a freckled canvas. It's a sight and sound to see and hear, unfortunately this picture doesn't do it justice.

The boys will have a costume competition at Extreme Kids "Bal Karnałowy" soon. We're hoping a police officer or a firefighter takes the win.

Morning drop-off at school. Look at these two happy faces ready for a fun filled day.

"Bal Karnawałowy" Kindergarten Class of 2025. For the record, Grayson informed me that one classmate, Pola was absent that day, in case anyone was wondering.
From left to right: Kornelia, Tosia, Zoja, Julka, Graysonek, Nadia, Laura, Maksiu, Hańia Piątek, Hugo, Wiktor, Damianek, Tyberiusz, Hańia Poznańska and Jaś.

With fresh powder on the ground it was time for some sledding. Park Strzelecki has a nice hill for the boys to test out their new sleds. They made a friend and built a snowman in the process.

I took this picture a while back at the main park in Grajewo. It was a drizzly and cold night but I really like how it came out so we decided to blow it up on canvas and hang it on the wall.

Another run at the hill, this time with a major wipeout. The low overnight temps turned soft snow into ice and the hill was bumpy and hard. Not ideal sledding conditions anymore.

The boys making pancakes after a boxing match. A historical loss for Damianek who was forced to make pancakes for Graysonek. But in all seriousness, the sledding fall is healing up nicely and fresh pancakes made it all better.

We took an evening stroll through the city and the main plaza. It was nice to see the Christmas lights still on.

And then we got pulled over. We're lawbreakers and didn't even know it. I'm digging the Volkswagen police van though. This was our first experience with the Police here and fortunately, it was a pleasant one. I guess our front window tint was not up to code. The legal limit is no tint at all on the driver and passenger sides. It was either remove the tint on the spot or catch a taxi home. That was an easy decision. The two officers were super cool about it, even helped us remove the tint and recommended a few local kid spots to visit around the city.
