We've been on a hunt lately for a Class A motorhome, specifically a Thor Miramar 34.6 model. They only made them between 2021-2023 and finding one close to Chicago for a reasonable price was proving difficult. Florida has a lot of RV dealerships and three of them had the model we are looking for on their lot. They were all priced a bit over our budget but at least it gave us an opportunity to step inside one in person. We located the closest one to us and hit the road.
A quick stop at a BBQ joint to fill our bellies before the final leg of the trip.
There it is, all 36 feet of it. It's a beast of a rig and checked all of our boxes which include a 100-gallon fresh water tank, washer/dryer, outside kitchen, bunk beds for the kids and an induction burner.
It has one large slide on the driver's side and when it is in the closed position everything is still accessible, including the bathroom, king bed in the back and kids' bunk beds.
When the slide closes, the bed tilts up to make additional room.
A drop-down queen bed over the driver and passenger seats that comes down with a push of a button when needed.
A nice and comfortable remote work station.
This would be the ultimate rig for us pulling a 4-door Jeep Wrangler.
